Who we are
Project X Agency Corp. ("Project X," "we," "us," or "our") is a British Columbia corporation and customer-acquisition and marketing-systems consultancy based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through projectxagency.ca and its related pages.
This policy applies to our website and initial enquiries. If you become a client, our handling of information within your advertising, analytics, website, or CRM accounts is also governed by the services agreement we sign with you.

What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our enquiry form, we collect:
- First name
- Company name
- Work email address
- Phone number
- Monthly advertising-spend range
- The main customer-acquisition problem you want help solving
These fields are required to submit the form.
Revenue Efficiency Calculator
When you use the Revenue Efficiency Calculator, you may enter:
- Monthly advertising spend
- Leads per month
- Customers per month
- Average customer value
The calculator derives figures including cost per lead, cost to acquire a customer, lead-to-customer rate, and revenue per advertising dollar. To view or receive the detailed breakdown, the calculator also asks for your first name, work email address, and company name.
When the calculator gate is submitted, those contact details, the four business figures, and the derived cost-per-lead and cost-per-customer figures are sent to Wix and stored with the form submission or contact record. These figures may be commercially sensitive even where they are not personal information on their own.
The site's measurement layer may also record advertising spend, lead count, and customer count as calculator events. It is designed not to include your name, email address, phone number, or company name in those analytics events.
We use calculator information to provide the requested breakdown and, where the information indicates that a conversation may be useful, to follow up once. Calculator submission does not subscribe you to a newsletter or ongoing marketing sequence.
When you schedule a call using the Google Calendar booking page linked from our website, Google may collect the information you provide on that page, such as your name, email address, and appointment details. Google's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy.
If you contact us directly by email, telephone, or another communication channel, we collect the information contained in that communication.
We do not currently operate a newsletter or automatically add people who submit the enquiry form to a marketing mailing list.
Information collected automatically
Our website is built and hosted on Wix. Wix and its infrastructure providers automatically process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, which may include:
- IP address
- Browser, operating-system, and device information
- Approximate location derived from an IP address
- Pages visited, timestamps, referring URL, and interactions with the site
- Cookie identifiers and similar technical data
- Diagnostic, security, and performance information
We also collect campaign and attribution information when it is available, including landing-page URL, referring source, and campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, and campaign. The site may retain first-touch attribution information in browser storage so an enquiry can be associated with the source that brought the visitor to the site.
We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement code and record events such as page interactions, form attempts, successful lead generation, form errors, and booking-button clicks. Our implementation is designed not to place names, email addresses, phone numbers, or company names into analytics event payloads.
For more information about cookies, browser storage, and measurement technologies, see our Cookie Policy.
What we do not collect through this website
- We do not take payments through this website.
- We do not operate a live-chat widget.
- We do not ask for sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
- The site and our services are directed to businesses and adults, not children.
Please do not submit confidential client data, account credentials, health information, financial-account information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information through the website.

We collect and use personal information with your consent and as otherwise permitted by applicable privacy law. When you submit an enquiry, you can reasonably expect us to use the information to review and respond to it. Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to promotional email.
You may withdraw consent to optional uses at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal may limit our ability to provide a requested service or continue a conversation.
Who we share information with
We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Wix.com Ltd. and its affiliates and infrastructure providers — for website hosting, security, forms, contact records, site operations, and related Wix services.
- Google LLC and its affiliates — for Google Tag Manager and, when you choose to schedule a call, Google Calendar and Google Meet.
- Authorized Project X personnel and service providers — only where access is needed to operate the website, respond to an enquiry, or support our business, and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Government, regulatory, law-enforcement, or legal authorities — where disclosure is required or permitted by law, or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our systems.
- A purchaser or successor to our business — if Project X is involved in a genuine merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and lawful handling requirements.
We do not disclose personal information to data brokers, and we do not sell it.
Processing outside Canada
Some service providers process or store information outside Canada.
Wix states that site-visitor information may be stored in data centres in the United States, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan, and Israel, and that other jurisdictions may be used where necessary to provide its services or comply with law.
Google operates globally and may process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where it or its service providers maintain facilities.
When personal information is processed outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is handled and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement agencies, or national-security authorities in that jurisdiction. Project X remains accountable for personal information under its control and uses service providers whose terms include privacy and security commitments.
If you do not want to use the website form or Google booking page, contact us to ask whether a reasonable alternative is available. Email or telephone providers may also process information outside Canada.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required or permitted by law.
- Enquiries that do not become client relationships: up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably required to resolve a dispute, preserve a legal claim, honour a request, or meet a legal obligation.
- Client and business records: for the duration of the engagement and generally for up to seven years after it ends, where the records are needed for contractual, accounting, tax, insurance, or legal purposes.
- Technical and analytics information: according to the retention controls available in Wix, Google, and our browser-storage implementation, and only for as long as reasonably useful for security, attribution, measurement, or troubleshooting.
When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or allow it to be securely overwritten in accordance with our service providers' ordinary backup and deletion cycles.
How we protect information
We use safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we hold, including:
- HTTPS encryption for data transmitted between a visitor's browser and the website
- Account and permission controls provided by Wix and Google
- Restricting administrative and contact-record access to authorized people who require it
- Reviewing and removing collaborator access when it is no longer required
- Avoiding the collection of unnecessary sensitive information through the website
- Keeping credentials and server-side secrets out of public website code
No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a breach involving personal information creates a real risk of significant harm or otherwise triggers a legal reporting obligation, we will take the steps required by applicable law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances and the law that applies, you may ask us to:
- Tell you whether we hold personal information about you
- Provide access to personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Explain how we have used or disclosed your information
- Withdraw consent to an optional use
- Delete information that we are not legally or contractually required to retain
Send requests to info@projectxagency.ca. Please describe the information or request clearly. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Access requests governed by British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act are generally answered within 30 business days, subject to permitted extensions and exceptions.
If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact:
- The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia for matters governed by British Columbia's private-sector privacy law; or
- The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act applies, including certain interprovincial or international commercial handling of personal information.

Third-party websites
Our website contains links to services and websites that we do not control, including Google Calendar and social-media platforms. Their privacy policies apply when you visit or use them. We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal information.
Changes to this policy
